Sphaerechinus granularis is up to 12 cm diameter sea urchin.
It's color is a beautiful deep purple with often white ends spines. It feeds on seaweeds on rocks between the surface and 100 m deep in the Atlantic sea and also in the Mediterranean Sea.
This one comes from the Italian cost in Liguria.
