Hexaplex Nigritus on Black Base

Hexaplex nigritus is a species of sea snail. It is known as the black and white murex shell. They range from Cabos san Lucas to Baja California, and through out the sea of Cortez. They primary prey are barnacles and bivalves; in turn they are preyed upon by crabs, fish, and sea stars. A beautiful art piece to adorn your home and celebrate the sea!
