Acropora Resin Coral
Reproduction of a small coral from the lagoons of Oceania. Coral is in fact a living organism of the family Cnidaires. Corals generally live in colonies or ‘superorganisms’ of individuals known as polyps. Each polyp excretes its own external skeleton, which can be soft or hard according to the particular species. This purple coral is handmade in resin, reproducing exactly the texture of living specimens, which are today protected species.
